Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost TV show. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of high school after her parents separated to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. She landed her debut role in the film, Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons, and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue the role of a greater part in movies, and had a role alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 and Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. She reprised her role in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season that aired from 2013 until 2014. The actress portrays Faith as a groupie and is also a model the stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. As a member of the Gyllenhaal family she is the child of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and the older sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. The career of her mother began when she was a teenager when she appeared in small role in films made by her father. In addition, she was a part of her brother in 2001's famous movie Donnie Darko. She then appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606), both that earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006 including World Trade Center she received more attention for her role as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). In the film, her performance as Crazy Heart as a mother who has a child earned her nomination in an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. Then she continued to star in comedies as well as dramas such Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011), and The Won't Back Down (12).
