Sarah Rafferty
While still in preparatory school, Sarah was bit by the acting bug at an extremely young age. Her passion for acting started when her drama teacher spotted her jogging across the lawn trying to get ready for field hockey practice on time. He advised her that she could leave the rehearsal to be part of Richard III's actors. Sarah was captivated by acting further and decided to majoring in English and theater in Hamilton College. She studied in the UK at Oxford and London during her junior year and was awarded the distinction of a magnacum-laude. Following Hamilton, she went to Yale Drama School. Her passion for learning about the arts was encouraged by her parents. Her mom was the Chairwoman in the English Department at the Convent of the Sacred Heart located in Greenwich CT and her father who was a master artist. It's clear that her studies and talent were rewarded. She has also appeared on many TV shows like Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Without A Trace CSI Miami Bones, feature films like Four Single Fathers, Falling For Grace. Sarah has also appeared in a number of professional stage productions including Gemini and As You Like It. Sarah's television acting career is enhanced by her work as an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association. She speaks frequently on the subject. Sarah has hosted their annual Sardi's celebration three years in succession and also presented in the group's final Sardi's event held in March. Sarah is a resident of the east and west coasts in America with her husband, two daughters and is employed in Toronto.
